Halloween is almost here, but there’s still plenty of time to enjoy this adorable kid friendly craft!
There is a woman that lives down the street from us. The neighborhood kids (and grown-ups too) adore her, and she is lovingly called Grandma Joy, despite the lack of actual biological relation to any of us. We recently found out that Grandma Joy is not feeling well and will require surgery. The kids all wanted to do something special for her, to remind her that we all love her and will be praying for her. She is a very sentimental woman so I knew that something handmade by the kids would truly mean the most to her.
I don't know if it's just me, or if it works this way for most people, but at least in my world, parties seem to usually be a last minute thing. We decide a day or two ahead of time that we will "have people over" and next thing you know you are throwing an all out party and have just enough time to clean the house and get food sorted out.
We generally try not to use disposable water bottles, but every now and then something takes place where they really are the most logical option. I mentioned earlier that I recently attended my nephew's graduation party. The party was one of those occasions.
